AdımODTÜ remains firmly committed to its mission of supporting scientific research conducted by undergraduate students at Middle East Technical University. Within the scope of the Undergraduate Research Program, a total of 412 student projects have been supported to date, benefiting 1,658 undergraduate students.
For the 2026 application period, unlike previous years, four distinct categories are offered under the titles AdımODTÜ (General), AdımODTÜ Artificial Intelligence, AdımODTÜ Teknofest, and AdımODTÜ Sustainability. Undergraduate students may submit their applications by completing the application form available at the link no later than 11:59 p.m. on Friday, February 27, 2026.
During this process, research proposal writing trainings will be organized to support students who are planning to apply. The first session will be held online via Microsoft Teams link on Thursday, February 5, 2026, at 2:00 p.m.; the second session will take place in person on Thursday, February 19, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. at the Research Park Multi-Purpose Hall.
In addition to these categories, participation in The Global Undergraduate Research Awards, of which METU is a member, offers applicants the opportunity to present their projects on an international undergraduate research platform and gain global visibility.
