Language Studies Track (Ph.D. in ELT) (After 2024-25 Fall)
Language Studies track aims to provide students with a firm theoretical and analytical knowledge about language acquisition, language processing and production procedures, structures of languages, language competence and social, cognitive and cultural aspects of language.
Regardless of the entrance year of the program, it has been decided to implement the course statuses below for all students who will come to the graduation stage since the Fall semester of the 2022-2023 Academic Year.

- Students are expected to select their PhD dissertation advisor by the end of their 2nd term (before they start their 3rd term) in the programme. To do this, please use the link (and the information) given below:
Advisor Assignment - On completion of the program courses, PhD students are required to sit their Written and Oral PhD Comprehensive Exams in either May or November (dates are announced annually) before they are allowed to start their dissertation work.
