In Memory of Prof. Dr. Sevda ÇALIŞKAN

We are deeply saddened to hear of the passing of Prof. Dr. Sevda Çalışkan, who was a faculty member of our Department from 1988 to 2003.

Prof. Dr. Sevda Çalışkan taught and influenced countless students, including many of the active faculty members of our Department today. She was an awe-inspiring professor, a dedicated, outstanding literary scholar, a principled intellectual, and a meticulous translator.

Our thoughts in this sad time are with her family, friends, colleagues, and students, who will sorely miss her impressive personality and inspiring guidance.

In Memory of Prof. Dr. Nail BEZEL

We are deeply saddened to hear of the passing of Prof. Dr. Nail Bezel, who was a faculty member of METU and of our Department from 1978 to 1997.

Prof. Dr. Nail Bezel taught, influenced and inspired countless students including many of the active faculty members of our Department today. In addition to being an outstanding professor and literary scholar, Prof. Bezel was a prolific poet, translator, and nature-lover.

Dear Undergraduate Students,

AdımODTÜ continues to support the scientific endeavors you undertake.

Within the scope of AdımODTÜ's Undergraduate Research Program, a total of 242 projects involving 1062 undergraduate students have been supported, with 17 projects in 2018, 27 in 2019, 57 in 2020, 64 in 2021, and 77 in 2022.
